This is a supplied and installed price, not a tile price. Our normal installation covers setting out, excavation and removal of normal excavated material to the depth a standard installation needs, a compacted sub-base, falls so rainwater runs off, standard-range porcelain supplied and laid, jointing and a clean finish. The depth depends on your existing ground and levels, so we confirm it on site. Abnormal ground conditions, unusual access, major level changes, retaining works, significant additional excavation, specialist drainage and other non-standard work are quoted separately.

Why does the sub-base matter so much?
Porcelain is only as good as what it sits on. A properly compacted sub-base keeps the paving level and stops it moving or cracking.
Will water sit on the patio?
It should not. We lay the patio with falls and plan the drainage so rainwater runs off.
Can you do the lawn, paths and garden store as well?
Yes. We rebuild whole gardens, including drainage, paving, lawn, lighting and garden stores.
What changes the price?
The area, the porcelain you choose, access to the garden, steps and level changes, and how much drainage is needed. Your detailed written quotation sets it out.
